2008: the future is now
I’m way late on the “first post of the new year” post, but here’s what’s up:
In 2007 I accomplished way more than I ever expected to at this age, and that’s what makes me excited about the next few years to come. 2008 is already 1/12 over, and it needs to slow down. I want this year to be big… I hope that 10 years from now I can look back on 2008 and see it as a life changing year. Of course I could argue that 2007 was a year of big change in my life, but I’d rather think of it as the foreshadowing of what is to come.
I’m going to completely change this website sometime soon. I want to make it more personal/fun. I’d like to post blog entries on a daily basis, and give people any kind of entertainment/enjoyment I can give. Let me know if you have any ideas of things to change on here - you can just type random thoughts or ideas in the Secret Box at the bottom of this page any time.
I’ve been struggling with this website for a while because I’m in a strange period of my life where half of my time is spent messing around with my friends and not caring about anything, and the other half is spent doing work with people who act like they don’t remember what it’s like to be 19 years old and have fun. (Quick side note: If I ever stop having fun, kill me.) The videos that jump-started this website nearly 4 years ago consisted of some of the most illegal things ever. They were all in good fun and I wouldn’t have traded that lifestyle for the world. My friends and I had so much more fun than anyone else during our high school years. Doing my own thing and staying out of the normal high school life is what made me who I am today, and I ALWAYS want to keep that crazy and spontaneous side of myself moving in full force.
It is a huge challenge to stay motivated and continue to work on personal things when I am spending 75% of my waking day on school work, but I’ve always enjoyed a challenge, and this will be no exception. Stop telling yourself you want things - get off your ass and go get them. The future is now, and I’ve never understood that phrase more than I do right now. Go do something you really care about, and don’t worry about what anyone else is doing. I will continue these thoughts soon, hopefully on a newly designed site. If you read all of this, I respect you.

Yeah Pete! Your fun and adventures always inspire me! GET SOME!
